Tree Planting
We are moving in to the planting season now. This is generally considered to be October to February. Here we are planting a small standard birch tree in Great Bourton. We selected this specimen from the local tree nursery after a consultation with our client. We picked it up along with the materials needed and brought them to site.
We planted the tree re-using the soil and a tree compost mix to help it get going. Finished with a small single stake to offer some support and a wood chip mulch to suppress competing weeds and help keep moisture in the ground through the trees establishment in the first growing season.
